Stewardship 2025

Our 2025 Stewardship Theme

“Your Own from Your Own, We Offer to You” from the Divine Liturgy as we offer back to God that which He has given us. He receives our humble offering of bread and wine and returns them to us as His Body and Blood in Holy Communion.

What can I give so that my church can become all it is meant to be – the Body of Christ on earth.” With a vision for the future of our parish we can say, “I want the Church to be here for my grandchildren’s grandchildren.”

Pledge Here!

At St. George, we welcome and encourage our parishioners to participate as fully as
possible in the life of our Church, especially in our many ministries and liturgical services.
Stewardship – the giving of our time, talent, and treasure – is a critical component of our
parish community. To each of you who dedicate your time and talents to assist our Church in
any way, we thank you. If you would like to give of yourself to our Church, come join the
many volunteers who help St. George thrive and flourish every day. God has blessed each of
us with a variety of talents. If you are inspired by any of our ministries, our facilities, or our
overall Church community, and you wish to offer your talents to assist, please let us know. As
the calendar year is soon to close, and we express our gratitude to Christ for our comforts and
conveniences, we ask each family to prayerfully consider your Stewardship pledge to St.
George. This Church is our second home, and your loving and supportive donations help to
sustain our Church’s many ministries, activities, programs, and operations. Our annual budget
is about $1.3 million, and it costs St. George about $3,600 each day to keep our doors open to
our hundreds of faithful parishioners and families. Please consider supporting one day of
operating St. George and pledging a 2025 stewardship commitment of $75 a week. Together,
we can achieve an annual budget that is 100% supported by Stewardship. Thank you for your
strong and enduring commitment to our Parish.

Giving Our Time and Talents to St. George

Take a few moments to reflect on how you can give of your time and talents to St. George. How many of us when we fill out the pledge card do not turn over the card and spend a few moments reviewing the various ministries of our Church? Why not choose a ministry you might be interested in? Talk to Fathers Peter and Timothy to help you get involved. Giving your Stewardship of time and talents could be as simple as volunteering on a Sunday or during Holy Week to be an usher or give a few hours during our upcoming Festival.

Stewardship Prayer

The Orthodox Steward accepts the challenge of responsibility in managing God’s abundant spiritual
gifts, using them for the glory of Christ and the service of humanity. The Orthodox Steward will share
the Gospel, remembering that Christ said, “You shall be my witnesses.” By word of mouth and the life
he leads, the Orthodox Steward says to others, “Jesus Christ is the most important priority in my life,
and I pray for you to know Him and love Him as I do.”
