About our Church Bookstore:
The St. George Bookstore first opened its doors on October 8, 1995. The bookstore is dedicated to supporting the religious education of the parish by providing parishioners with books about the Orthodox faith as well as Icons and other religious articles. During the church festivals, the offerings expand to include books about Greek culture and history.
The original location of the bookstore was a converted closet space in the founders Hall. For several years, that limited space served us well but as interest grew and new titles were requested, more space was needed to display and store inventory. So three years after it began, the bookstore reopened in October 1998 in its current space with a special blessing service. This larger more convenient room in the Presbytera Maria Hall, will allow the St. George Bookstore to provide parishioners with a more extensive selection of books and theological articles as well as room to browse and make book selections. The bookstore is open Sundays after the Divine Liturgy.
