PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sunday, January 29th

We are happy to welcome back, Deacon Konstantine and Diaconnissa Athanasia Loukas to Saint George. This is Deacon Konstantine's first service at Saint George. We welcome them and proclaim AXIOS!

STEWARDSHIP

Our theme for Stewardship 2023 is Our Church Our Spiritual Home.

Our home is a safe and familiar place where we belong. St. George is our spiritual home. It is a place of prayer, comfort, spiritual healing, and celebration.

Our Church is more than a building. It is where we turn for comfort, support and healing. It is where we make true Christian friends that last a lifetime.

While completing your 2023 Stewardship Card, pause for a moment to ask yourself:

“Does my stewardship honor God?,...You honor the Lord with your substance by taking a certain portion of your finances and offering it to God as an act of worship.

We honor God and His work when our Stewardship is a generous portion of our income….

Your stewardship has a direct impact on the continuing ministries of our Church on the parish level and national level.”

We are Stewards of the Gospel and Stewards of St. George. We see our Church not as it is, but as it could be. We offer our treasure and ourselves sacrificially, so that, as members of the Body of Christ we may reach our full potential in Him.

PLANNED GIVING

We would like you to consider your impact on the future life of St. George. Your contributions may have numerous tax benefits. They may include donating appreciated securities or making a Qualified Charitable Contribution from your taxable IRA directly to St. George, if applicable. Please contact Father Dimitrios for further guidance and be sure to contact your financial professional to determine if these choices are suitable for you.
