Helen D. Papavasiliou fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in the 90th year of her earthly life.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vasilios “Bill Pappas” Papavasiliou; mother of Christine Josey; grandmother of Patrick Josey; sister of Thomas Dimou, and the late Mary Watson.

Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD,  Sunday, August 28, from 2:00  to 4:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held here at St. George on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place at  Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 1400 K Street NW, Suite 725, Washington, DC 20005.
