The Gospel passage from St. Matthew presents a lesson on forgiveness — a reality that sometimes we find easy to do and other times a daunting challenge. Yet it was the Cross and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus that brought lasting forgiveness, compassion, and mercy to us from a God who never, ever, stops loving us — even in our brokenness. |
