| Brothers and Sisters, please find attached below a meditative reflection on tomorrow’s Great Feast of the Ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. Today is the Apodosis (leave-taking) of Holy Pascha and the focus of our hearts turns to the Lord’s return to the Heavenly Kingdom as a preparation for the sending of the Holy Spirit upon the believers at Pentecost.
Orthros will be served at 8:30 AM and the Divine Liturgy of the Feast will follow at 9:30 AM. Please join us, if you are able, for the services of this Great Feast and use the attached reflection to prepare your heart and soul for the celebration of the Lord’s return to heavenly glory — though He never leaves us alone! |
