Our sister in the faith, Rose Marie Manis, fell asleep iin the Lord on January 15. She was the beloved wife of the late James C. Manis; loving mother of Athena Kaiser (Ken) and Maria Cornelius (Fred); grandmother of James, Amalia and Nicholas Kaiser and Patrick and Michael Cornelius; sister of Ethel Levathes and the late Helen Landry. Rose Marie and her husband were founding members of St. George where she served on the Parish Council and served as secretary.
Friends may call at St. George on Saturday, January 22, 2022 for Visitation at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
May the handmaid of God, Rose Marie, rest in peace and rise in glory, and may her memory be eternal!
