Our brother James George Calomiris fell asleep in the Lord on December 23, 2021 in the 56th year of his earthly life. Born in Washington DC to Penelope C. Calomiris and the late George James Calomiris. Jimmy graduated from Georgetown Prep in 1983 and from the University of Richmond in 1987. He then received his law degree from the American University Washington College of Law in 1990. After opening his law firm, Calomiris & Calomiris PA with his sister, he went on to focus his career in DC real estate development. Jimmy was a dedicated Washingtonian and devoted fan of all Washington sports teams. Survived by his loving mother, Penny, sister, Carol, brother-in-law, Bill, and his nieces, Nicole and Victoria.
Friends and family are welcome for viewing on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM here at St. George. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a donation to the James George Calomiris Memorial Fund here at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. as Jimmy was especially committed to his church. COVID protocols will be followed during the services in Church (masks, distancing).
