| MOST HOLY MOTHER OF GOD PROTECT US, YOUR CHILDREN, FROM ALL HARM AND FROM THE INFLUENCE OF THE EVIL ONE! Brothers and SIsters, Please find attached below a reflection on tomorrow’s Feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos for your prayerful preparation. The English poet and Priest, Fr. Gerard Manley Hopkins, call the Theotokos “….our tainted nature’s solitary boast.” She protects us, she watches over us, and she intercedes with her Son for our sake. Let us make ready to honor her as Mother of God and our Mother! |
