Our brother in Christ, Aristidis Nikolaos Kopsidas of Rockville, was called by the Lord to Himself on Monday, September 6, 2021 in the 88 th year of his earthly life. Born in Karya, Lefkada, he was the devoted husband of Eleni for over 50 years and the father of three children—Evthoxia (Stephen), Niki, and Nikolaos (Eleni). He also was the adoring grandfather of Korina and Thomas Aristidis Vlahos. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Theodore (Maria), Epaminondas (Katina), and Vasilios (Argyroula)—and is survived by two brothers, Apostolos (Kia) and Evangelos (Vivi), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George,7701 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD 20817 on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
