| Our sister Helen Barbara Charuhas fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, December 16 in the 77th year of her earthly life. She was born to Bessie and the late Michael Ahiouris. She was the beloved wife of Peter Charuhas; loving mother of the late Gina and the late Taki Charuhas; and stepmother of Christo Charuhas. She was the devoted sister of Audrey Jalepes (+George), the late Conni Kanaris (+Alex) and the late Cathy Duble. Helen is also survived by several nieces, nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, 7701 Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, MD on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow the viewing, with interment next at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited at the church and cemetery.
