| With the sudden passing of our dear friend, Christina Kangelaris, our St. George Young Adult League has chosen to support the Angel Tree children this holiday season on behalf of Christina’s memory, since she spent time volunteering within prison and juvenile correction centers.
The Angel Tree program is a part of The Prision Fellowship organization which serves to help incarcerated parents by providing a pathway for strengthening and restoring their relationships with their children and families. Angel Tree shares the love of Christ in a tangible way and strengthens family bonds, delivering personalized gifts and the Gospel to children on behalf of their incarcerated parents around Christmas time and provides other opportunities throughout the year for these children as well.
