Our brother, George Kapogiannis, was called by the Lord to Himself on Thursday, May 28, 2020, in the 102nd year of his earthly life.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife,  Eleftheria. He is survived by his devoted son, Dr. Bill G. Kapogiannis and his extended family and friends. As a result of state mandated gathering restrictions, a private service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 7701 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD followed by a private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington to recognize the wonderful care they provided to him.
