| On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Vassilios L. Ioannou was called by the Lord to Himself in the 82nd year of his earthly life. . He was born in Kastoria, Greece. He is survived by his wife, Evangelia Ioannou, his son, Lazaros Ioannou, his daughters, Clairy Ioannou, Pandora Kessler (Cody), and his grandchildren, Nicholas Kessler, and Evangelia Kessler. The family and the St. George community wish that Vassilios’ friends and family could be with us during this difficult time, but the present public health crisis precludes it. We are saddened by the fact that they can’t be present but commend him to your fervent prayers and to the unending mercy of God.. Donations may be made in his memory to the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George.
