The “Hawaiian” Myrrh-Streaming Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will visit the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Washington, DC (4001 17th Street, NW) on the evening of Friday, October 25.   Divine Services will include a Moleban (Service of Supplication), followed by the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos, Queen of Heaven.  This will be the last time in 2019 the holy icon will visit the Washington area.  This is the icon that visited St. George a few years ago, for which we had a magnificent turn-out.  This is an excellent opportunity to venerate the icon and receive anointing with its holy Myrrh.
