Retreats and Summer Camps: Save the dates!

Just a reminder about upcoming retreats and summer camps at St. George and elsewhere!

At St. George:
For Kindergarten through 5th graders:

• St. George’s will be holding our annual Lenten Youth Retreat on April 20th, the Saturday of Lazarus.
   
• We will also be holding our annual Vacation Bible School from June 17th to June 21st. (https://stgeorge.org/education/vacation-bible-school). The theme is “Traveling on the Ark of Salvation: Feasts of the Theotokos.”

For 6th – 12th Graders:

• We will be also hosting the BeeTreat (Be the Bee Retreat) on Saturday Morning March 30th with Steve Christoforou and Christian Gonzalez! (https://stgeorge.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/beetreat_flier_Maryland.pdf). Other Lenten Retreats at other Greek Orthodox Parishes in the area:

• The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, Baltimore, MD will host the twenty-fifth Annual Nicholas Tsakalos Growing in Faith Retreat which will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019. The Retreat Masters are Father Nicholas and Presvytera Roxanne Louh of Saint John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church in Jacksonville, Florida.  The topic for the retreat is “Daily principles you can apply to make 2019 the best year of your life, spiritually.”  Contact Jeanne Tsakalos, 410-252-6021 or Jeannetsakalos@hotmail.com.  The early registrations cost for the retreat is $30.00, until March 11. Youth are invited to an evening with Father Nicholas and Presvytera Roxanne on Friday, March 22, 2019, following the Salutations to the Virgin Mary, beginning at 6:30 PM.  Dinner and discussion to follow. • The 20th Annual Memorial Lenten Retreat will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019, here at SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Annapolis, MD, from 9 am – 3 pm, with Guest Retreat Speaker, Hank Hanegraaff. Hank Hanegraaff serves as President of the Christian Research Institute (CRI) and hosts the Bible Answer Man broadcast and the Hank Unplugged broadcast.   For information, call 410-573-2072.
