| Our sister and mother of our Choir Director, Georgia Alexion Mavromihalis, fell asleep in the Lord on December 8 in the 88th year of her earthly life. She was the daughter of the late Christ Alexion and Alice Camberis Alexion; beloved wife of the late Petro Elias Mavromihalis; devoted mother of Paul Mavromihalis and his wife Rebecca Ocampo, Thomas Mavromihalis and his wife Kelly O’Keeffe, and the late Jo Ann Mavromihalis; dear sister of William Alexion, Irene Cocoros, and the late Constantine Alexion; loving grandmother of Trevor and Delaney Mavromihalis. Friends may call at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, when a Trisagion service will be held at 7:30 PM. Mrs. Mavromihalis will lie in state at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Rd, Baltimore MD 21234, Thursday from 10 to 10:30 AM at which time the Funeral Service will begin.Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Demetrios Choir or the St. George Choir, 7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda MD 20817.
