Our brother Christo Foundas fell asleep n the Lord on October 5, in the 88th year of his earthly life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Barbara Galvez, He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother and brothers: Jimmy Foundas, Dino Foundas, and Nick Foundas.  Other survivers include his two sons, Bobby Foundas of Florida and Johnny Foundas of Virginia; his sister, Nancy Foundas of Bethany Beach, DE; and Barbara’s five children with their partners, who considered him to be their father: Samuel and Ana Galvez of Germantown, MD; Barbara and Santiago Poblete of Urbana, MD; Francis and Cesar Yambot of Germantown, MD, Reyna Galvez of Clarksburg, MD; and Daisy and Franklin Durana of Clarksburg, MD. Fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews will cherish his memory.  Viewing will take place at St. George on Tuesday, October 9 from 10 AM to 11 AM. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, and burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring.
