The servant of God, Gus N. Dervenis fell asleep in the Lord on September 18 in the 86th year of his earthly life. He was the beloved husband of Christina Dervenis; loving father of Stephen G. (Sonya D.) Dervenis and Marianne D. (Steve) Lunceford; devoted Pappy of Andrew S. and Nicholas W. Dervenis. and Alexandra K. and Christopher S. Lunceford. The family will receive friends at Pumphrey’s Colonial Funeral Home in Rockville on Monday, September 24 from 5 to 8 PM. The Funeral Service will be here at St. George on Tuesday, September 25 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC.
